Day 1
Welcome to Huay Pakoot
Your adventure begins in the village with a home-cooked lunch and a warm introduction to Karen culture. In the afternoon, you join a gibbon awareness session that sets the tone for the days ahead. The evening ends with a Karen cooking class and either a night hike or spontaneous karaoke night — a perfect start to the journey.

Day 2
First Entry Into the Wild
The forest wakes early, and so do we. After sunrise, you head straight into the mountains for your first gibbon-spotting session. Later, a refreshing river hike leads you through cool waters and shady bamboo groves before lunch in the forest. By late afternoon, you reach your campsite deep in gibbon territory. Dinner is cooked in bamboo, and the night comes alive on a herping tour in search of reptiles and amphibians.
Day 3
Trekking deeper
After breakfast steamed inside fresh bamboo, you trek deeper into the jungle, exploring new ridges and valleys. A fruit break in the canopy lets you refuel before continuing toward the next campsite. Lunch in bamboo and an afternoon of trekking reveal more wildlife signs and hidden corners of the forest. The day ends with sticky rice cooked in bamboo and campfire stories beneath the stars.

Day 4
Learn to track wildlife & Forest Skills
Today you follow the river systems — the pathways of wildlife. Animal tracking, river crossings, and dense forest trails shape the morning. After another bamboo breakfast and lunch, you continue trekking deeper into gibbon habitat. By evening, you settle back at camp and enjoy a relaxed games night with your guides, sharing laughs and jungle tales.
Day 5
Final Night Under the Canopy
Another early morning brings another opportunity to spot gibbons as they call across the valley. A bamboo breakfast sets you up for a day of river trekking and animal tracking. Your final full day surrounded by ancient forest. In the evening, you return to camp for a last bamboo dinner and a peaceful night under the jungle canopy.

Day 6
Sunrise Farewell & Homeward Bound
With one last gibbon encounter, you trek back to the village before returning to Chiang Mai—tired, happy, and deeply connected to the forest you’ve been part of.
